We use only the finest aromatic materials and botanical essences blended with high grade 100% alcohol to ensure the purity of our fragrances. All of our fragrances are made in the UK.

A complex blend of natural and synthetic notes

We blend natural and synthetic ingredients to refine the complexity of our scents and make them safe to wear. The word ‘synthetic’ is often misunderstood as a negative attribute in a fragrance. In fact, quite the contrary - they are sometimes superior, safer and kinder to skin than their natural counterparts.

The natural scents are, as the name implies, sourced directly from nature. There are many ways to obtain them, such as distillation, expression and extraction. Synthetic fragrances use chemistry and aromatic molecules to create new scents or imitate natural scents.

The vast majority of perfumes on the market contain both synthetic and natural ingredients. Synthetic scents not only highlight the natural ingredients featured in the perfume and recreate the smell of natural flowers, but also create the smell of those such as lilies that cannot be distilled.

We use superior synthetic molecules for many of the heart accord notes integral to our scents such as muscone, civetone and iso-e-super for their unique ability to adapt and morph with the natural scent of the wearer to smell unique over time.

We’ve developed and tested our fragrances for over two years to ensure they are truly long-lasting. Enriched with powerful base notes and enhanced with notes that blend with your skin chemistry, each fragrance in the range will endure throughout the day and well into the next.

Our fragrances are kind to the environment and your skin

We do not use parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, artificial colours, artificial preservatives.

We do not test on animals.

All of our perfumes undergo full safety assessments to ensure that they are safe for use by the consumer and to the environment and follow International Fragrance Association Regulations (IFRA), guaranteeing ‘IFRA Skin Contact and Leave On’ requirements.

We use vegan ingredients wherever possible. There are small amounts of Beeswax Absolute found in Floral, Woody and Skin.

Olfactive O fragrances are formulated with nature’s most precious essences. Some cloudiness or sediment may occur due to the high percentage of raw, natural extracts.

Our packaging

As an independent brand we strive to leave the smallest possible footprint on the planet. We’ve designed our perfume boxes to make them easily reusable as storage for your trinkets, and all our packaging is fully recyclable. We are working on being able to offer a refillable service, but in the meantime, our perfume bottles make beautiful little bedside bud vases by carefully easing off the cap.
